Albania Summer Fun

Albania is a beautiful country. When the whole country goes on pushim (vacation) for three months, there is only one thing to do...travel! So I joined a local hiking and camping group of amazing Albanians that love to be in nature. Every trip with them is a new cultural experience for me. I am visiting remote places I never imagined possible. I am making new friends. I am learning the language with them. We laugh together as we sit by the fire and share a drink. We climb ever higher and higher to the next peak and to the next adventure. Enjoy the pictures!

If I had known I was going to climb that peak in the background, I don't know that I would have had the courage or strength to do it. I did it. Sometimes I am surprised with what I can do in my life!
